Green gram curry recipe with Instant pot &A; stovetop instructions – Phaseolus aureus also called mung bonce, green moong decaliter or whole moong dal is a lentil plant that is wide used in Asian cooking.   • ¾ teaspoon ginger minced or paste (¾ inch)
  • 2 garlic cloves minced (or ¾ teaspoon glue)
  • 1 sprig curry leaves or bay leaf
  • tablespoons oil or ghee
  • ½ teaspoon cumin seeds surgery jeera
  • ¼ teaspoon mustard seeds (optional)
  • ½ to ¾ teaspoon red chili powder
  • ½ teaspoon garam masala
  • ¾ teaspoon coriander powder (or garam masala powder)
  • ¼ teaspoonful Curcuma domestica
  • ¾ teaspoon salt (adjust to taste)
  • cups water system (more for pot) (1½ cups for Instant pot)
  • 2 tablespoonful coriander leaves

Preparation

  • Rinse and soak greenish gram for 3 to 4 hours. Avoid over soaking as the skin begins to separate on its own while cookery. If making in Instant pot you bum skip sousing.

  • Heat a pan or green goddess or pressure cooker with oil. Add mustard seeds (optional) & Cuminum cyminum seeds.

Instant pot mung curry
